Round robin that balances the month
Each booking goes to the free host with the fewest upcoming meetings. Acuity's default balances appointments within the same day, so a rep who had a quiet Monday does not get caught up on Tuesday.
Per account against per seat, priced at your headcount
Acuity Scheduling charges per account and caps the number of calendars. Calendly charges for every person who hosts a shared meeting. That one difference decides most team comparisons, so start with the calculator: it shows what Calendly Teams costs at your headcount against one flat company price, and the table below adds Acuity at the same sizes.
Two-way Google Calendar sync, Google Meet, round robin and collective meetings, company-wide hours. Monthly or yearly billing, cancel from the billing screen.

Round-robin and collective meetings for your whole team
Calendly figures use its published Teams list price: $16 per seat per month billed yearly for seats 1 to 30, lower bands above that, and $20 per seat month to month. ScheduleMeeting prices are the plans on our pricing page, in US dollars.
The short answer
Acuity is cheaper than Calendly for most teams because it bills per account, not per person. Acuity Premium costs $49 a month billed yearly for up to 36 calendars, while Calendly Teams costs $16 per seat a month billed yearly, so ten hosts on Calendly run $1,920 a year against $588 on Acuity.
Price is not the whole decision. Acuity is built for client appointments that are paid for, with intake forms, packages and deposits. Calendly is built for meetings between businesses, with round robin tuned for sales and Salesforce and HubSpot routing. If your team needs business meetings, collective panels and Google Workspace on one company price, ScheduleMeeting Team covers up to 15 people for $594 a year.
Acuity and Calendly measure your team in different units. Acuity counts calendars, and a calendar is usually one staff member or one location. Calendly counts seats, and every host on a round robin or collective event needs one. A seven person team is one Acuity account on the Premium plan, and seven paid seats on Calendly.
Write down who takes booked meetings today, who will in twelve months, and whether any meeting needs two of them at once. Those three numbers tell you more about the right tool than any feature grid, because they decide both the bill and whether the tool can book the meeting at all.
The cheapest plan on each product that lets a team share one booking link. Acuity figures come from acuityscheduling.com/pricing and the Acuity help center, Calendly figures from Calendly's help center, both checked October 2026.

Acuity Scheduling and Calendly are trademarks of their owners, which are not affiliated with ScheduleMeeting. Rival prices are published US list prices before tax and can change, so check each vendor's pricing page before you buy.
Acuity shines for paid client sessions. These are the parts of team scheduling that sales, recruiting and customer success teams lean on every day.
Each booking goes to the free host with the fewest upcoming meetings. Acuity's default balances appointments within the same day, so a rep who had a quiet Monday does not get caught up on Tuesday.
One link that only offers times when every required person is free. A panel interview, a demo with a sales engineer, a client kickoff with the account lead and a strategist.
Each person connects their own Google Calendar. Busy time blocks the booking page, and new meetings land on the calendar with a Google Meet link already attached.
Set office hours and closures once for the whole company. Every booking page respects them, on top of each person's own working hours.
Minimum notice, buffers before and after, and a daily cap per host stop the booking page from stacking six demos into one afternoon.
Starter, Team and Business plans are priced per company with seats included. Adding a recruiter or a new CSM does not change the invoice.
A switch usually takes an afternoon, because the booking links are the only part your clients and prospects see.
Sign up with a work email, name the company and choose Team. Invite everyone who takes meetings; each person connects their own Google Calendar.
Most teams have three to six: an intro call, a demo, an onboarding session, an interview. Set length, notice, buffers and the questions you ask.
Intro calls and demos usually rotate. Panels and joint client calls usually need everyone. Set company hours and holidays once.
Replace the old link in your website, email signatures and templates. Keep the old account until upcoming appointments have happened, then cancel it.
Both tools get shortlisted by very different teams. These are the ones a per-company meeting tool fits best.
Inbound demo requests land on one link that spreads them across reps who are free. Our sales scheduling software page covers the demo setup.
Screens rotate across recruiters and panels need several interviewers free at once, which is where a per-appointment calendar model gets in the way. See interview scheduling software.
Discovery calls rotate and client reviews need the account lead plus a specialist. Our client scheduling software page prices that setup.
Onboarding and check-in calls spread across CSMs so no one owns twice the calls of a colleague by the end of the quarter.
Acuity is better for businesses that sell appointments, and Calendly is better for teams that book meetings with other businesses. Acuity includes payments, intake forms, packages and gift certificates on a per account price. Calendly has deeper round robin, routing forms and Salesforce and HubSpot sync, but every host is a paid seat.
A massage studio, a tutoring company or a therapy practice with five staff will usually be happier on Acuity Standard at $27 a month billed yearly. A five rep sales team that needs demos assigned fairly and logged in a CRM will usually be happier on Calendly Teams, even at $960 a year. The two tools rarely compete for the same buyer once you look past the price page.
Yes, for any team of more than two people. Acuity charges one price for the account and lets you add calendars up to the plan cap, while Calendly bills each host. At three people Acuity Standard costs $324 a year and Calendly Teams $576. At ten people Acuity Premium costs $588 a year and Calendly Teams $1,920.
The gap only closes when you need what Acuity does not have. If you need two staff on one appointment, CRM sync or Microsoft Teams links, the cheaper plan stops being the comparison that matters.
| Hosts, billed yearly | Acuity Scheduling | Calendly Teams | ScheduleMeeting |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | $324 (Standard) | $576 | $294 (Starter, no round robin) or $594 (Team) |
| 6 | $324 (Standard) | $1,152 | $594 (Team) |
| 10 | $588 (Premium) | $1,920 | $594 (Team) |
| 15 | $588 (Premium) | $2,880 | $594 (Team) |
| 30 | $588 (Premium) | $5,760 | $1,194 (Business) |
Yes. Acuity calls it calendar pooling, and it appears once an account has more than one calendar. The default round robin books a calendar that is free at the requested time and has the fewest other appointments that day. The alternative setting picks the first free calendar in the order you list them, which is priority, not rotation.
Balancing by the day works well for a salon where every chair fills up daily. It is less even for a sales or customer success team, where one person can end a week with twice the calls of a colleague because each day is judged on its own. ScheduleMeeting balances on upcoming meetings across the whole calendar, and our round robin scheduling software comparison shows how twelve vendors handle it.
Not as a standard feature. Acuity's help center describes pooling as picking one available calendar for each appointment, and we found no setting that requires two staff calendars to be free for the same booking. Teams work around it with a shared calendar for the pair or by blocking time by hand.
For a business team this matters more than it sounds. Panel interviews, demos with a sales engineer and client kickoffs all need two or three people at once. Calendly handles it with collective events, and ScheduleMeeting with collective meetings on the Team plan. Our collective scheduling software page prices that use case across vendors.
Acuity and Calendly both do things we do not. Pick the one that matches how your team actually meets.
Acuity Scheduling costs $27 a month billed yearly for up to 6 calendars on Standard, or $49 a month billed yearly for up to 36 calendars on Premium. Month to month the same plans cost $34 and $61. The price is per account, so adding a staff member does not raise the bill until you pass the calendar cap.
Calendly is usually the better fit for a sales team. Round robin can optimize for equal distribution, routing forms qualify leads before they book, and Teams syncs with Salesforce and HubSpot. Acuity is cheaper, but its features center on paid client appointments rather than demo routing.
Yes. Acuity syncs with Google Calendar, Outlook and iCloud, so busy time on a connected calendar blocks the booking page and new appointments are added to the calendar. Each calendar in Acuity can connect to the staff member's own calendar.
Yes. Every Acuity plan has a 7-day free trial that does not ask for a card. There is no permanent free plan, unlike Calendly, which keeps a free tier for one user with one event type.
For a team that books meetings with other businesses on Google Workspace, ScheduleMeeting Team covers up to 15 people for $99 a month with round robin and collective meetings. For a sales team on Salesforce or HubSpot, Calendly Teams is the stronger pick. For paid client sessions, staying on Acuity usually makes sense.
No. ScheduleMeeting does not collect payment at booking. If your appointments are paid in advance, Acuity or Calendly will serve you better.
Team plan: round robin and collective meetings, shared team pages and company-wide hours for up to 15 people at $99 a month, or $49.50 a month billed yearly. No seat per host.
