How much does Acuity Scheduling cost?
Acuity Scheduling, owned by Squarespace, lists three plans on acuityscheduling.com/pricing, checked in October 2026. All prices are in US dollars before tax, and paying yearly saves 20 percent. There is no permanent free plan. Each plan opens with a 7-day trial that does not ask for a credit card.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Calendars | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $20 a month | $16 a month ($192 a year) | 1 | Online booking, payments through Stripe, Square, PayPal and Venmo, email reminders, custom intake forms, automatic time zone conversion, Google Meet, Zoom and GoTo links |
| Standard | $34 a month | $27 a month ($324 a year) | Up to 6 | Everything in Starter, plus text reminders, an appointment waitlist, packages, memberships and subscriptions, gift certificates |
| Premium | $61 a month | $49 a month ($588 a year) | Up to 36 | Everything in Standard, plus the AI booking assistant, a signed BAA for HIPAA, hidden Acuity branding, separate time zones per staff member or location, custom API and CSS |
Acuity also mentions an enterprise option through its sales team for larger organizations. It does not publish a price for it.
Is Acuity Scheduling priced per user?
No. Acuity is priced per account, and each plan caps the number of calendars. Acuity describes a calendar as one employee or one location, so in practice the cap works like a staff limit: Starter fits one person, Standard fits a team of up to six, and Premium fits up to 36. Adding a seventh person moves you from Standard to Premium, which raises the yearly bill from $324 to $588.
That model is the main reason teams shortlist Acuity. Most scheduling tools that rotate meetings across a team, including Calendly Teams, Cal.com Teams and OnceHub, bill every host. Acuity bills the account once.
What does Acuity cost for a team?
Here is the yearly bill on Acuity at common team sizes, next to Calendly Teams, the usual alternative a business team compares it with. Calendly figures use its published Teams price of $16 per seat a month billed yearly.
| People who take bookings | Acuity plan | Acuity, billed yearly | Calendly Teams, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Starter | $192 | Calendly Standard $120 (no round robin) |
| 3 | Standard | $324 | $576 |
| 6 | Standard | $324 | $1,152 |
| 10 | Premium | $588 | $1,920 |
| 20 | Premium | $588 | $3,840 |
| 36 | Premium | $588 | $6,804 (seats 31 to 36 at $14.50) |
On price alone, Acuity wins at every team size above two. That is a real advantage, and if your business sells appointments it is usually the end of the comparison. The question for a business team is whether Acuity books the kind of meetings you have.
Which Acuity plan do I need for round robin?
Any plan with more than one calendar, so Standard or Premium. Acuity calls the feature calendar pooling. Once it is on, clients pick a time without choosing a person, and Acuity assigns the appointment by one of two rules. The default round robin books a calendar that is free at that time and has the fewest other appointments that day. The other setting checks calendars in the order you list them and takes the first free one, which is priority rather than rotation.
Balancing by the day suits a studio or clinic where every calendar fills up daily. A sales, recruiting or customer success team sees the limit after a few weeks: each day is judged on its own, so a rep who was out on Monday never gets the missed calls back. Tools that balance on upcoming meetings or on a running count even this out over the month. Our round robin scheduling software comparison shows how twelve vendors decide who gets the next booking.
What Acuity pricing does not cover
A few limits matter more to business teams than to appointment businesses, and none of them are fixed by a higher plan.
- Meetings with two hosts. Acuity's pooling assigns one calendar per appointment. We found no setting that requires two staff calendars to be free for the same booking, which is what a panel interview, a demo with a sales engineer or a joint client kickoff needs.
- CRM sync. The pricing page lists no native Salesforce or HubSpot sync. Teams that log every booked demo in a CRM tend to choose Calendly Teams or HubSpot Meetings instead.
- Microsoft Teams links. Acuity lists Google Meet, Zoom and GoTo for online meetings.
- SMS outside supported countries. Text reminders are on Standard and Premium, but Acuity notes they depend on country availability.
If your booking page gets plenty of visits but too few people finish booking, the plan is rarely the problem. The page copy and the number of steps usually are, and a quick conversion audit of the booking page tends to find more bookings than an upgrade does.
Is Acuity Scheduling worth it for a business team?
Acuity is worth it when your appointments are the product. A tutoring company, a wellness studio or a therapy practice gets payments, intake forms, packages, gift certificates and a waitlist for less than most rivals charge for two seats. Premium's signed BAA makes it one of the cheaper HIPAA options in the category.
It is a weaker fit when your team books meetings with other businesses. Demos, interviews, onboarding calls and client reviews need fair rotation across the month, occasional meetings with two or three hosts, and sometimes a CRM. For that, the realistic options are Calendly Teams at $16 per host billed yearly, or a per-company plan that includes the team. ScheduleMeeting Team covers up to 15 people for $99 a month, or $594 a year, with round robin that balances on upcoming meetings and collective meetings for panels, on Google Workspace and Google Meet. It does not take payments, so it is not a replacement for Acuity in a business that charges at booking.
The side-by-side of all three, with the honest list of where Acuity and Calendly win, is on our Acuity vs Calendly for teams page. If your firm is an agency or consultancy, our client scheduling software page prices the same choice for client-facing staff.
How to keep the Acuity bill down
- Pay yearly once you are sure. The yearly price is 20 percent lower on every plan. Use the monthly plan during the first month if you are still testing.
- Count calendars, not people. A calendar can stand for a location or a resource as well as a person. Six people who share two rooms may only need the rooms to be bookable.
- Watch the six-calendar line. Standard to Premium is a jump of $264 a year. If you are at five calendars and hiring, budget for Premium now.
- Do not pay for Premium features you will not use. HIPAA, API access and hidden branding are the main reasons to upgrade. Calendar count is the other.
Acuity Scheduling pricing questions
Is Acuity Scheduling free?
No. Acuity Scheduling has no permanent free plan. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial without a credit card, after which Starter costs $16 a month billed yearly or $20 month to month.
How much is Acuity Premium?
Acuity Premium costs $49 a month billed yearly, which is $588 a year, or $61 month to month. It covers up to 36 calendars and adds HIPAA BAA, hidden branding, staff time zones, the AI booking assistant and API access.
How many staff can use Acuity Standard?
Acuity Standard allows up to 6 calendars, and a calendar usually stands for one staff member or one location. A team of seven or more people taking bookings needs Premium.

Does Acuity Scheduling take payments on every plan?
Yes. Stripe, Square, PayPal and Venmo payments, including deposits, are available on Starter, Standard and Premium. Packages, memberships and gift certificates start at Standard.
