Google Workspace Appointment Scheduling Pricing, What Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling Costs a Team

Google Calendar appointment scheduling is included in Google Workspace, but the team features (co-hosts and schedules on shared calendars) need Business Standard or above: $14 per user per month on a yearly commitment, or $16.80 month to month. For a 10-person team that is $1,680 a year, or $840 a year more than Business Starter.

Even on Business Standard, Google's scheduler has no round-robin. ScheduleMeeting adds round-robin and collective meetings to any Google Calendar, including Business Starter, for $99 a month for up to 15 people.

Calendly figures use its published Teams list price: $16 per seat per month billed yearly for seats 1 to 30, lower bands above that, and $20 per seat month to month. ScheduleMeeting prices are the plans on our pricing page, in US dollars.

How much does Google Workspace appointment scheduling cost?

Google does not sell appointment scheduling on its own. It comes with a Google Workspace plan, and Workspace is priced per user. The US list prices on Google's pricing page are:

Workspace planYearly commitmentFlexible (month to month)Appointment scheduling
Business Starter$7 per user per month$8.40 per user per monthBasic scheduler, no co-hosts
Business Standard$14 per user per month$16.80 per user per monthBooking pages, up to 20 co-hosts, secondary calendars
Business Plus$22 per user per month$26.40 per user per monthSame as Standard

Google's pricing page lists appointment booking pages as a Business Standard feature and does not list them on Starter. Google's Calendar help center adds the detail that matters for teams: co-hosts (up to 20 per schedule) and appointment schedules on secondary calendars need Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise, or an Education or Nonprofit edition. Personal accounts and Workspace Individual get the scheduler for one person, without co-hosts.

So the practical price of team scheduling in Google is the Business Standard seat. If your company already pays for Standard for other reasons (more storage, Meet recording, larger meetings), booking pages cost nothing extra. If you are on Starter, you are buying an upgrade.

What does a team pay for Google booking pages?

The table applies Google's yearly-commitment prices to common team sizes. The middle column is the full Business Standard bill; the third is only the extra you pay to move those users up from Starter. The last column is the ScheduleMeeting plan that covers the same headcount, which works on top of either Workspace plan.

People who take meetingsBusiness Standard, per yearUpgrade from Starter, per yearScheduleMeeting, per year
5$840$420$594 (Team)
10$1,680$840$594 (Team)
15$2,520$1,260$594 (Team)
25$4,200$2,100$1,194 (Business)

On flexible billing the Standard numbers rise by 20%: 10 users cost $2,016 a year instead of $1,680. If your admin upgrades the whole account rather than only the people who take meetings, multiply the per-user figures by total headcount instead.

Read the columns fairly. A Workspace upgrade buys a lot more than scheduling, so it is not a like-for-like price. The comparison is useful for one decision only: if the reason you are looking at Business Standard is booking pages for a team, the upgrade is usually the more expensive way to get them, and it still leaves out the feature most teams are after.

What the Business Standard upgrade does not give you

Google's scheduler is designed around one person's calendar. Co-hosts turn a schedule into a group meeting, not a shared queue. Three gaps show up as soon as a team tries to use it:

  • No round-robin. There is no way to send each booking to the next available teammate. Every co-host is invited to every appointment. We cover the workarounds, and why they break, on our Google Calendar round robin page.
  • Co-host availability is manual. A co-host's calendar is not checked for conflicts unless you add it under the schedule's availability settings yourself, so a booking can land when one host is busy.
  • No company-wide policy. Hours, buffers and daily maximums are set schedule by schedule. Closing every booking page for a company holiday means editing each one.

None of that is a flaw for a consultant or a manager who needs one booking page. It is a problem for an inbound sales pod, a recruiting team or a customer success group, where the meeting belongs to whoever is free rather than to one person.

Is Google Calendar appointment scheduling worth paying for?

It is worth it in three situations, and we would tell a customer so:

  1. You already pay for Business Standard. Booking pages are then free, and for individual schedules they are good.
  2. You take paid bookings. Google connects appointment schedules to a payment processor so invitees pay when they book. ScheduleMeeting does not collect payments at booking.
  3. Hosts attend together. If every meeting needs the same two or three people, co-hosts do the job, as long as you remember to add their calendars to the availability check.

It is poor value when a team on Starter upgrades mainly to share scheduling. Ten users cost $840 a year extra, and the team still has no rotation. If you are reviewing what every tool on the account costs per head, it helps to track SaaS spend across every subscription before signing another per-user upgrade, because seat pricing compounds quietly as headcount grows.

The cheaper way to add team scheduling to Google Calendar

A scheduling tool that connects to each person's Google Calendar gives a team the missing pieces without touching the Workspace plan. That is what ScheduleMeeting is built for. It works on Business Starter as well as Standard, because it reads and writes each member's calendar directly:

  • Round-robin that assigns each booking to the free host with the fewest upcoming meetings.
  • Collective meeting types that only offer times when every required host is free, with every host's calendar checked automatically.
  • Company-wide hours and holidays set once and enforced on every booking page.
  • Buffers, minimum notice and a daily cap per meeting type, plus reminders and self-service reschedule links.
  • Two-way Google Calendar sync with Google Meet links on the confirmed event.

The Team plan costs $99 a month, or $594 a year billed yearly, for up to 15 people, and Business covers up to 100 people for $199 a month. Every paid plan includes unlimited bookings, and the full limits are on the ScheduleMeeting pricing page.

If you are also weighing Calendly, it is the other common add-on for Google Workspace teams. It charges per seat, and round-robin starts on its Teams plan; our Calendly round robin pricing breakdown shows what that costs by team size, and the Calendly for Teams alternative page lists where Calendly is the stronger product, such as Outlook calendars and Salesforce routing. Doodle is the other per-user option teams price here, and it has no round-robin at all; the Doodle pricing by team size breakdown covers what Pro and Team cost in 2026.

How to decide in five minutes

Count the people who take meetings, not the people on the Workspace account. Then answer two questions. Do meetings need to rotate between those people? And are you already paying for Business Standard?

  • Already on Standard, no rotation needed: use Google's booking pages. There is nothing to buy.
  • On Starter, no rotation needed, one or two hosts: the basic scheduler may be enough; check whether its limits bother you before upgrading anyone.
  • Rotation needed, on any plan: Google cannot do it at any price. Add a round-robin scheduler that connects to Google Calendar and keep the Workspace plan you have.

Google Workspace appointment scheduling questions

Is Google Calendar appointment scheduling free?

The basic scheduler comes with personal Google accounts and Business Starter at no extra cost. Team features such as co-hosts and schedules on secondary calendars need Business Standard or above, which lists at $14 per user per month on a yearly commitment or $16.80 month to month in the US.

Does Google Workspace Business Starter include appointment scheduling?

Only the basic version. Google's pricing page lists appointment booking pages from Business Standard up, and co-hosts need Standard, Plus or Enterprise. Starter users can still add round-robin and collective meetings through ScheduleMeeting, which connects to any Google Calendar.

Can Google appointment schedules do round robin?

No. There is no round-robin option on any Workspace plan. Co-hosts are all invited to every booking. To rotate meetings across a team you need a scheduling tool on top of Google Calendar, such as ScheduleMeeting Team at $99 a month for up to 15 people.

How much is Google Workspace Business Standard per user?

Business Standard lists at $14 per user per month with a one-year commitment and $16.80 per user per month on the flexible plan in the US. A 10-person team pays $1,680 a year on the yearly commitment.
